About

Henrietta was born in 1970 in Windsor, England. She studied sculpture at Edinburgh College of Art before transferring her degree to Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, Canada. Following a career in the creative industries and once her children were old enough Henrietta returned to her studio practice. Her starting point was capturing the immediate landscapes in graphite and charcoal. She produced a series of often large scale drawings, from which some went on to be produced as transfer designs for her artisan business Clavering Bespoke. In 2019 Henrietta decided to focus on her fine art. She now teaches and works from her studio in Devon. She is a member of CROW, Exeter and The Devon Artist’s Network. 2021-2023 Henrietta was represented by New Blood Art. She now sells directly from her studio and online.
